In December 2024, AySAM had to turn to the Provincial Government in search of funds to finance various works detailed in its budget for that year. The Mendoza company requested a transfer of $7,651,981,830 from the Ministry of Government, Infrastructure and Territorial Development. One of the projects for which this funding would be allocated is the expansion of the Palmira/San Martín Purification Facility and the Master Plan for the Optimization and Expansion of Drinking Water Supply in Greater Mendoza.

According to the Official Bulletin, the Mendoza Executive approved the transfer of 4.5 billion pesos for these works. Although the money was transferred in December 2024, the corresponding decree has only now been made public.

"This transfer of funds is crucial to advance key projects that will benefit the population of the region," said a spokesperson for AySAM. Investment in water infrastructure is essential to improve the quality of life for the residents of Greater Mendoza and to ensure access to adequate sanitation services.

The news about the reception of these funds and their allocation was first shared by the media Mendoza Today. This investment represents an important step in the development of works that will contribute to the well-being of the Mendoza community and the improvement of water infrastructure in the region.
