The National Social Security Administration (ANSES) reported that holders of the Universal Child Allowance (AUH) may not receive an additional payment of nearly $145,000 that is disbursed once a year to all families benefiting from social assistance with children. During the year 2024, ANSES withheld monthly amounts ranging from $8,264 in January to $18,656 in December, totaling $143,723 for the year 2025.
ANSES announced that this additional payment will not be made to those holders who have not completed the corresponding procedures, which include proving compliance with the vaccination schedule and presenting the AUH Booklet with the health section validated by an official health center, as well as a school certificate. To carry out this procedure, beneficiaries must log into the official ANSES platform with their Social Security Key, download and print the Form from the corresponding section, complete the vaccination schedule at a health center, accept the schooling validated by an educational institution, and upload the completed form on the ANSES website or application.
The social security agency will begin the payment scheme in February starting on the 10th, with a one-day delay compared to the previous month. The amounts for February of the AUH will be increased by 2.4% corresponding to December's inflation. The amounts vary according to the type of benefit, with and without a 20% withholding. AUH beneficiaries must annually meet school and health requirements, such as the national vaccination schedule, school certificate, and medical assistance, as ANSES withholds 20% of the benefit as a guarantee of compliance with these conditions.
