The Government of Chubut, led by Ignacio "Nacho" Torres, announced that the salaries of public employees will be deposited on Thursday, February 6, corresponding to the month of January. On the other hand, retirees will receive their payments on Wednesday, February 5, one day earlier than the active sector, to ensure them an exclusive day of attention at the provincial banks.
The Ministry of Economy of Chubut indicated that 106,860,000,000 pesos will be allocated to cover this month's salaries, making the budget disbursement without issuing debts that may harm provincial finances. Workers will be able to access their salaries through the ATMs of the Bank of Chubut: on the 7th for the active sector and on the 6th for retirees.
In the words of the Ministry of Economy, "the payment of salaries will be carried out without generating new debts that affect provincial finances". This measure aims to ensure that both active employees and retirees receive their payments promptly and without compromising the province's finances.
