
One of the unions in the sector signed a significant salary agreement as part of the collective bargaining negotiations. The Federation of Workers in the Oilseed Industrial Complex (FTCIODyARA) achieved a non-cumulative increase of 17.8% and an extraordinary bonus. With this agreement, the initial salary of a worker starting on January 1, 2025, will reach $1,082,453.80, combining basic salary and additional payments.
The general secretary of the union, Daniel Yofra, emphasized that this increase corresponds to the last phase of 2024, totaling a 117.8% increase for the year. Additionally, a non-remunerative extraordinary allocation of $200,000 was agreed upon, which will be paid in two equal installments before the end of January and February, respectively.
The agreement was also signed by the Union of Oil Workers and Cotton Ginners of Chaco (STADYCA). The federation highlighted that this achievement was the result of a complex negotiation during a period of low activity and stated that they are preparing for a challenging 2025, demonstrating the strength of the workers.
