New Adjustment in Pensions and Retirements in Argentina

The Argentine government confirms adjustments in pensions and retirements, including bonuses and inflation increases, impacting the elderly and beneficiaries of AYH.

New Adjustment in Pensions and Retirements in Argentina

In February, the new amounts for social benefits in Argentina were announced. For example, a pension of $300,000 will receive a bonus of $43,086. The Universal Pension for the Elderly (PUAM) will be $288,469.20, and the Non-Contributory Pensions (PNC) for Disability and Old Age will be $261,160.55.

According to ANSES, the minimum pension to be received in February will be $343,086.50, which includes an inflation adjustment of 2.7% applied in December on a base amount of $273,086.50, plus a bonus of $70,000 that does not get updated.

The reinforcement for minimum pensions has remained stable since March 2024, which has resulted in a real reduction of benefits for those receiving the minimum pension. For those receiving between $273,086 and $343,086, a bonus will be paid to help reach the maximum value.

Regarding family allowances, the Universal Child Allowance (AUH) will amount to $98,128, the AUH for a Child with Disabilities to $319,525, and the Family Allowance for Children to $49,066 for the first income range.
