Aerolineas Argentinas and LATAM Launch Code Sharing

The alliance between LATAM Airlines and Aerolíneas Argentinas opens new opportunities for travelers, as they will be able to access more than 100 destinations in South America starting February 1. This is made possible by a code-sharing agreement that will allow the combination of domestic and international flights.

Among the benefits of this agreement is the possibility of purchasing tickets on domestic flights of one airline to connect with an international flight of the other. For example, a passenger can fly from Sao Paulo to Bariloche by combining a flight from LATAM Airlines Brazil with one from Aerolíneas Argentinas, thus facilitating their journey.

Additionally, starting February 1, LATAM Pass and Aerolíneas Plus members will have the option to earn miles on any flights of both airlines, regardless of whether they are operated on a code-sharing basis. A communication regarding the possibility of redeeming miles is still awaited.

Aerolíneas Plus, the loyalty program of Aerolíneas Argentinas, offers its frequent flyers the opportunity to accumulate and redeem miles to travel to destinations around the world. On the other hand, LATAM Pass rewards its members with exclusive benefits that enhance their travel experience, depending on their category.

This alliance is expected to benefit more than 48 million members, offering them greater opportunities to accumulate and redeem miles on LATAM and Aerolíneas Argentinas flights. The code-sharing agreements between both airlines promise greater connectivity and a more convenient travel experience for passengers.
