The director of the Investment and Foreign Trade Bank (BICE), Nicolás Scioli, expressed the need for modern and digitized municipalities that facilitate entrepreneurial development by eliminating unnecessary fees. In this regard, he emphasized the importance of local governments adapting to the new stage of prosperity that Argentina is experiencing, promoting efficiency and citizen orientation.
Scioli stressed the promotion of training and access to financial tools from municipalities, highlighting the work of the Argentine Leasing Association in the continuous training of entrepreneurs. He praised the efforts of the president, Javier Milei, in achieving a reduction in inflation, achieving a fiscal surplus, and decreasing country risk in record time.
The executive also emphasized the importance of provinces and municipalities joining in the reduction of tax pressure, stressing the need for joint work between the Nation, provinces, and municipalities. He pointed out that mayors, being in direct contact with the population, must adapt to new realities and avoid obsolete bureaucratic practices.
