Governor of Salta Gustavo Sáenz and former Chief of the Army César Milani engaged in a heated exchange on social media. The conflict began when Sáenz criticized former President Cristina Kirchner for endorsing the suspension of Justicialist Party leaders in Jujuy province. In response, Milani called the governor a "paper pretty boy." Sáenz retorted, calling Milani a "barracks pretty boy" and invoking General Güemes. Milani fired back, stating that Sáenz "doesn't even represent the shadow of caudillo Güemes" and accused him of "dropping his pants every time the national government asks."
