The Attorney General of Justice of Chaco, Jorge Canteros, held a press conference to thank the work done in the jury trial where six of the seven accused of the femicide of Cecilia Strzyzowski were found guilty of homicide and concealment. 'I have said it several times, it is the most important trial of my entire judicial career and of the province of Chaco,' Canteros emphasized in an interview accessed by the Argentine News Agency. The Prosecutor also noted that it is the first time that 'there is a conviction without a body or a death certificate that accredits it.' 'Many told us that without a body and an act there would be no sentence, but Cecilia spoke, she marked the river where her ashes were thrown, we found her suitcase and valise, which held her dreams,' he added. 'All this allowed the Fiscal Team to demonstrate that Cecilia entered the house alive and left wrapped in a blanket,' he added. In this context, he expressed how important this trial was for the authorities, as well as for all Chaqueños, and thanked the members of the Special Fiscal Team, the Police of Chaco and the Third Police Station, also the members of the Popular Jury, the personnel of the Department of Complex Investigations and the doctors who make up the staff of the Forensic Institute. 'I think Cecilia is already resting in peace, today she will have her death certificate,' he concluded. Then, Miguel Fonteina, Adjunct General Prosecutor of Chaco, took the word and stated: 'It is a huge pride.' 'This case will be analyzed as emblematic, for the enormous investigative work and the procedural guidelines that were developed,' he highlighted. Juan Martín Bogado is one of the members of the Fiscal Team and also thanked the support received to 'achieve the objective we had set.' Prosecutor Jorge Omar Cáceres Olivera also spoke, stating that it was a 'complex and arduous' investigation. 'I am very excited and grateful,' stated prosecutor Nelia Yael Velázquez.
