Resistencia, November 15 (NA) – The popular jury found six of the seven defendants guilty in the femicide case of Cecilia Strzyzowski. Thus, the only one declared 'not guilty' was Griselda Reinoso, who was set free. According to information from the Argentine News Agency, the charges in the case were announced this afternoon, and the jury members concluded their work before the court. Finally, after several hours of deliberation, the main accused, César Sena, was found guilty of femicide, while his father, Emerenciano Sena, was found guilty as an necessary accomplice, and the young man's mother, Marcela Acuña, as a primary accomplice. The entire clan was sentenced to life imprisonment. Gustavo Obregón was found guilty of concealment, as were Gustavo Melgarejo and Fabiana González, who also received an aggravating factor. 'The hearing for sentencing will be set in the coming days,' stated Gustavo Briend, lawyer for Gloria Romero - the victim's mother - in a conversation with the press. Meanwhile, Ricardo Osuna, one of Emerenciano's defenders, spoke with NA and confirmed that he will appeal: 'My client is fine, it was one of the possible verdicts.' The lawyer added that Acuña is 'calm' because she 'already knew' the jury would declare her guilty.
