Resistencia, November 15 (NA) — The streets around the Chaco courts at Juan B. Justo 42 were filled with posters demanding justice for the murder of Cecilia Strzyzowski, as people awaited the verdict of the jury against the Sena clan. According to the Argentine News Agency, the jury members resumed deliberations on Saturday at 8:00 a.m. Since this morning, a large crowd has gathered in the plaza in front of the courthouse, chanting "Justice!". Testimonies from women who are "mothers, daughters, and granddaughters" could be heard, along with Ni Una Menos (Not One Less) posters, hundreds of photos calling for a life sentence, and lawyers forming a human shield to move through the crowd. The great-aunt of Cecilia, Mercedes, is also expected to arrive, and she is awaited with an emotional reception by those who, with great fervor, seek a judicial ruling. Yesterday's hearing was extended until 7:00 p.m. after the 12 members deliberated for nearly 10 hours, for which reason they requested a recess from Judge Dolly Fernández until this morning.
