Jury Announces Verdict in Cecilia Strzyzowski Femicide Case

Resistencia, November 14 (NA) – The jury members declared an adjournment until this Saturday at 8:00 AM to announce the verdict against the Serna Clan, accused of the femicide of Cecilia Strzyzowski.

Ricardo Osuna, one of the defenders of Emerenciano Serna, informed the Argentine News Agency that "they did not reach an agreement": "I think there is an internal conflict among them".

In this sense, the lawyer stated that his client and the other defendants are all "as anxious as the community" for the verdict to be read. "I think that if they look at the evidence, they have to declare Emerenciano not guilty," added Osuna regarding the decision of the jury members.

After the closing arguments, the hearing on this Friday began at 8:00 AM at the Judicial Studies Center, located at Juan B. Justo 42.

Judge Dolly Fernández gave the seven defendants the opportunity to make their last statement before the Tribunal and the jury.
