In Resistencia, Argentina, the trial for the femicide of Cecilia Strzyzowski begins today at the Judicial Studies Center. This comes after the popular jury, which will determine the guilt or innocence of the Sena Clan and their accomplices, was formed. On Thursday, after three intense days of selection, it was announced that the popular jury will consist of 12 main members, six men and six women, plus eight alternates.

For this Friday, with the start of the trial, the initial instructions and opening statements will be presented, followed by the testimony of four witnesses before the tribunal, sources close to the case confirmed to the Argentine News Agency. The trial begins this Friday, October 31st, and hearings will run until November 20th, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., at the Judicial Studies Center of Resistencia, located at Juan B. Justo 42.

César Sena, the victim's ex-partner, arrives at the trial accused of the crime of doubly aggravated homicide as the author. His parents, Emerenciano and Marcela Acuña, are accused as necessary participants in the femicide. Gustavo Melgarejo, Gustavo Obregón, Griselda Reinoso, and Fabiana González are being tried for the crime of aggravated concealment.
