It was learned yesterday that one of the participants was known to one of Emerenciano Sena's lawyers, which is why she was disqualified. Judicial authorities are tasked with interviewing and evaluating neighbors to confirm that they have no ties to the accused, nor do they have in-depth knowledge of the case. It is expected that by the end of the week or sooner, the 12 members of the popular jury—six men and six women, along with the alternates—will be announced. If that does not happen, the trial will begin at the Judicial Studies Center with the opening arguments stage. César Sena, the victim's ex-partner, is charged with doubly aggravated homicide as the perpetrator, while his parents, Emerenciano and Marcela Acuña, are charged as necessary participants in the femicide. Gustavo Melgarejo, Gustavo Obregón, Griselda Reinoso, and Fabiana González are to stand trial for the crime of aggravated concealment. One member of the legal team defending Emerenciano Sena, one of the main accused in the femicide of Cecilia Strzyzowski, was arrested for filming the popular jury trial. The implicated individual is Nicolás Boniardi Cabra, a member of Ricardo Osuna's law firm, who was removed from the courtroom by police for filming the hearing with his cell phone. According to the testimony of Commissioner Fernando Romero, the lawyer “would have panned across the jury” with the phone, which was seized by the officers. Boniardi Cabra was taken in a patrol car to the 4th Police Station of Resistencia and will remain lodged there until tomorrow, while prosecutor Ana Graciela González de Pache is in charge of the case. During the second day of the proceedings, which are held behind closed doors, the jury selection process continued. Over 160 residents of Chaco were screened at the Gala Convention Center, and a similar number was expected to be processed today.
