The victim of the crime later discovered that thieves were using her card and making various purchases. During one of the transactions, as reported by Río Negro, she saw the details of the store's location, which prompted the man to go to the shop with his son and provincial police officers. Upon arrival, they found the suspects trying to make another purchase and immediately alerted the police, who managed to detain them, according to the Argentine News Agency. Store employees confirmed that the criminals had purchased a two-seater gray sofa, one part of which was transported from the accused's Fiat Palio car, and two mobile phones. Consequently, authorities conducted a search of the vehicle and found the stolen card and purchase receipts for 3,889,600 pesos, as well as others for 78,600 and 268.90 pesos. They also found the two phones. Curiously, according to the information provided, this was not the only card in their possession. They had already committed similar thefts and used the cards to buy things, which led to raids on their homes. Both accused, aged 30 and 37, were arrested and handed over to the justice system.
