"I came because it happens every day. His crime was not in the course of a robbery," stated one of the protesters. Aguilar's girlfriend was affected by pepper spray during the protest, which led to incidents when some participants threw stones at a municipal truck.

"We are afraid, I don’t know if we will return home," expressed a family member in distress. Aguilar's colleagues and neighbors, aged 20, demanded greater security in front of the municipality of Moreno, denouncing the rising violence and thefts. The police intervened and arrested around 15 protesters during the demonstration.

On Eduardo Asconape Street 51, the headquarters of the Municipality of Moreno, protesters set objects on fire and faced off against the police. There was the use of pepper spray by the law enforcement forces. Municipal authorities stated that the police acted to dissolve the conflict situation.

Ismael Castro, Secretary of Security of Moreno, explained that the disturbances included the destruction of vehicles and the burning of tires. More than 10 people were arrested and will be taken to the appropriate police stations. Castro also reported that Mayor Mariel Fernández was present in the municipal building during the protest.
