Two motorcycle robbers attacked a 37-year-old female delivery driver in Morón Sur, wounding her with a bullet during a robbery attempt at the intersection of San Francisco and Ozanam streets. The victim, identified as Yanina Noemí P., was heading to make a delivery when she was intercepted by the criminals. In the midst of the assault, a young neighbor, Jeremías Iván F., came to her defense and was also injured.
The woman received a gunshot wound to the abdomen, with no vital organs affected, while the young man suffered a grazing wound on his left nipple. Both managed to reach Morón Hospital on their own, where they received medical attention and were reported to be out of danger.
Police authorities are working on identifying the attackers, who managed to escape without completing the robbery. They are reviewing footage from local security cameras to gather leads that could aid in the investigation of the case. Prosecutor Fernando Siquier Rodríguez, from UFI No. 6 of Morón, is in charge of investigating the incident.
