Two men were detained in the town of Morón, Buenos Aires province, accused of attacking a driver with a metal bar during a traffic fight. The brutal act was recorded by witnesses, and the videos went viral. The incident occurred on Monday afternoon on Juan Manuel de Rosas Avenue, between Gutiérrez and Urdinarrain streets, when two men attacked a motorist after getting into a fight. According to the police report accessed by the Noticias Argentinas agency, everything started with an argument, and during the dispute, 62-year-old Alejandro Darío Vargas threatened Ricardo Oscar and Ceferino Maciel with an air rifle. From this unusual action, a fight began that could have had a fatal outcome, as during the argument one of the accused hit Vargas on the head with a metal bar, causing him to be injured and lying on the public road. Immediately, the emergency services were notified, and personnel from SAME arrived at the scene, transferring the injured man to the San Juan de Dios Hospital in Ramos Mejía, where he was hospitalized under observation, out of danger. Regarding the relatives, they were detained for the crime of serious injuries. The case is being handled by the Morón UFI No. 5, which ordered the seizure of the weapon and the metal bar used to loosen the vehicle wheel nuts.
