Two mountaineers from Buenos Aires have been rescued in the last hours in the area of El Plata peak, after being missing for almost two days. A companion had reported the disappearance of both on Wednesday, so the Rescue Patrol moved to the Vallecitos area, where the two men had become disoriented during the descent and separated from their group. According to Argentine News agency, the two 42-year-old men were finally found: one was fatigued and the other showed signs of dehydration, so they were treated on the spot and moved to a safer area. During the operation, drones were used, which were key to guiding the rescuers as they searched the area. El Plata is the highest peak of the mountain range of the same name, it is part of the Andes and one of the highest mountains in the province, with a height of almost 6000 meters.
