In the Buenos Aires locality of Ituzaingó, a man was the victim of a robbery in his own home, where three criminals - two men and one woman - entered and committed the theft of his life savings. The incident took place on La Piedad street at number 300 while the retiree was on his usual walk.
The criminals deceived the elderly man into believing that they needed to give money to one of his sons, mentioning specific details that made the victim trust them. After a period of distraction, the criminals hurried to leave the scene, taking with them the package containing the elderly man's money.
Meanwhile, the retiree was bound, beaten, and subjected to a situation of extreme distress upon realizing the loss of his savings, which were intended for a trip with his wife. The case investigation was assigned to prosecutor María Alejandra Bonini, from the Decentralized UFI No. 2 of Ituzaingó.
In a video recorded by security cameras, a gray car belonging to the criminal gang can be seen stopping in front of the victim's house. A man with a beret gets out of the driver's seat, the retiree is deceived from the front right door, and a woman joins the deception from the back of the vehicle. Subsequently, another man joins the group, getting out from the back of the car.
