Vélez Sarsfield defender, Valentín Gómez, expressed his satisfaction with the team's victory and returning to winning ways, highlighting the importance of this achievement. The international player with the Argentina U-20 National Team shared his opinion on the state of the Vélez facilities in Ituzaingó, expressing his dissatisfaction with the training conditions they face.
"From that side, a bit frustrated too because afterwards we have to step up and we are responsible for the bad moment we are going through but the conditions in which we train... The pitches are not in the best state, the locker room needs remodeling, many things need to be done for Vélez to continue being what it is, a great club," Gómez indicated.

Despite attracting interest from foreign clubs, Gillett's maneuver caused the signing to fall through, leaving the player in a complicated situation.
