A neighbor alerted a merchant about an alleged thief who had entered the business, revealing that the individual had a history of gender violence and thefts. The upholsterer of the establishment, noticing the suspicious behavior of the subject, confronted him in front of the girl who was attending in the store. According to the man's account, there was an exchange of insults between the criminal and the merchant, after which the thief fled toward a corner.
After reviewing the security cameras, a worker from the place pursued the implicated individual when he attempted to board public transport. In an attempt to stop him, the employee shouted, "thief, get down," but the individual managed to escape into the crowd, during which he disposed of the stolen box. Marcelo, the worker of the business, detailed the events that occurred, explaining that the alleged thief had been distracting an employee to steal merchandise and hand it over to an accomplice.
The robbery took place in a hardware store in Ituzaingó, where a man and his son were caught by the security cameras while committing the crime. Despite the efforts of the business staff to prevent the theft, the suspects managed to escape, and their whereabouts are currently unknown.
