Anguish in Corrientes: Kidnapping Case Developments

The case of the disappearance of the boy Loan in Corrientes has taken a turn with the detention of seven suspects, including members of his own family. The family's lawyer, Juan Pablo Gallego, has dismissed complex theories and suggests that it was a kidnapping plan that went wrong in the town of 9 de Julio.

After months of searching, the Justice has kept these seven individuals imprisoned who were with Loan on the day of his disappearance. According to the prosecution, the kidnapping could have been planned by family members during a lunch at the child's grandmother's house.

The lawyer for Loan's parents has detailed the roles that the suspects allegedly had in the kidnapping of the minor. Laudelina Peña is pointed out as the planner of the cover-up, Bernardino Antonio Benítez as the proposer of the plan, Mónica Millapi as the one who captured the boy, Daniel Ramírez as the one who handed him over to Carlos Pérez, and the latter along with his wife Victoria Caillava as the executors of the plan, taking the boy in their vehicle. Furthermore, Commissioner Walter Maciel allegedly diverted the investigation and covered up the events.

The lawyer has stated that the kidnappers had no intention of taking Loan out of Corrientes. All the suspects are accused of abduction of a minor as co-authors, and it is expected that the truth will come to light in this case that has shocked public opinion.
