President Javier Milei will attend this Friday evening the Doma and Folklore Festival in Jesús María, in the province of Córdoba, and on Saturday he will travel to Paraguay to attend the signing of the free trade agreement between Mercosur and the European Union in that neighboring country. After his brief stay in Paraguay, Milei will depart for Switzerland to speak at the World Economic Forum in Davos, to be held from January 19 to 23. The main attraction at the Jesús María festival will be the historic singer-songwriter Chaqueño Palavecino. In Paraguay, meanwhile, Milei will seek to send a signal of support to his counterpart Santiago Peña, who will assume the pro tempore presidency of Mercosur, while on Sunday the presidential delegation will depart for Switzerland. On the other hand, Milei confirmed today from his social networks that at the end of the month he will participate in the new edition of the Derecha Fest festival, to be held in the coastal city of Mar del Plata on January 27. According to Argentina's News Agency, from official sources, the president is scheduled to travel to the Atlantic Coast at the end of January, in compliance with the schedule of two trips to the territory per month planned by the La Libertad Avanza (LLA) campaign command. That event will be mainly organized by Nicolás Márquez, the president's biographer, and the team of Derecha Diario, led by Spaniard Javier Negre. The event is presented as "the most anti-left event in the country" that "lands on the coast." Without a venue or format yet, libertarians will gather in the coastal city for an event that promises exhibitions, music, and a libertarian book fair. LLA has been working for weeks to arrange a new visit to the interior of the province of Buenos Aires, which could include a tour of downtown Mar del Plata, an activity that Milei usually carries out every time he visits the coastal city.
