The trial against Néstor Soto for the femicide of his friend Catalina Gutiérrez resumes with the testimonies of experts and friends of both young people. If found guilty, he will receive a life sentence. In the initial days of the trial, several images caught attention.
The judicial process was suspended due to family issues of the appellate judge, but it resumes this Wednesday with the expected testimonies. Judicial authorities had previously communicated that the debate against Soto would resume following the death of the mother of appellate judge María Gabriela Rojas Moresi. Therefore, audiences are expected to reactivate and restore the order established in the Criminal and Correctional Chamber of the 11th Nomination of the city of Córdoba.
Experts present at the crime scene and friends of both Soto and the victim will give their testimony before the court. Although it is not exactly known when the accused will testify, it is estimated that it will be soon, as the young man intends to do so. Soto is charged with aggravated homicide due to premeditation and gender violence.
