Controversial DNA Evidence in Córdoba Case

Months ago, it was confirmed that the DNA of Roberto Bárcola matches the genetic traces found on the coat and the body of the victim, which has led Facundo Macarrón, son of the deceased Nora Dalmasso, to take legal action against prosecutors Javier Di Santo, Daniel Miralles, and Luis Pizarro.

Facundo's lawyer, Mariángeles Mussolini, has announced that they will file a complaint for breach of public official duties and institutional violence. In their statement, they criticize the prosecutors for not having acted diligently and are now seeking to reopen the case against Bárcola to prevent it from expiring.

Mussolini has requested the suspension of prescription deadlines due to the procedural inactivity of the Public Prosecutor's Office and has stated that there are sufficient elements to prevent the case from closing without justice. The Macarrón family has expressed hope that a new trial can be achieved that leads to the truth about the death of Nora Dalmasso in 2006 in the province of Córdoba.

Facundo's defense is working to gather all criminal records of Bárcola and present them to the control judge. Despite the family's frustration with the lost time, they are determined to fight for justice. Facundo seeks that those responsible be brought to justice and that the case not go unpunished.

The lawyer believes that the case of Nora Dalmasso marks a before and after in many aspects and hopes that Justice will finally support the family's request. Despite the anger and pain they have experienced, they are determined to do everything possible to reverse the current situation and achieve the truth and justice they seek.
