Senator Luis Juez from Córdoba announced that he will continue to be part of the PRO bloc but will resign from the presidency starting tomorrow, giving way to Senator Alfredo De Angeli from Entre Ríos. "You shouldn't cling to positions," Juez pointed out while explaining his decision.
In a recent interview, Juez expressed his reason for stepping down from the leadership of the bloc, indicating that he felt "undermined" especially during the Senate vote that ended with the expulsion of Edgardo Kueider. For his part, he emphasized that his resignation is due to the end of a cycle and dismissed rumors linking him to other positions such as the Provisional Presidency of the Senate.
Juez mentioned: "Last year I had a significant role as the president of a bloc, and I feel that this prominence requires yielding so that others can do it with greater intelligence." He emphasized the importance of recognizing exhausted cycles and opening space for new opportunities for his colleagues in the PRO bloc.
