Buenos Aires, November 24 (NA) -- More human remains were found this Monday by Córdoba Police personnel in a channel, about 400 meters from where the first discoveries were made on November 16 in the General Urquiza neighborhood. Days earlier, a dog brought a bag containing a human thigh to a neighbor's house, which initiated an investigation to determine the identity of the deceased and the cause of death. Police sources informed the Argentine News Agency (NA) that this Monday at noon, 400 meters from where the dog had found the bag, other human remains were found. As part of the investigation carried out by the District Prosecutor's Office 2, Shift 6, led by Prosecutor Eugenia Pérez Moreno, the remains were found in a channel. The incident took place in the area of Alejandro Danel at 4800, where officers working in the area located a condominium bag containing human limbs, thrown into a gully used as a landfill. The operation involved members of the Investigations Brigade, Judicial Police, Canine Division, and DUAR, who were conducting scheduled search tasks in the sector. Procedures at the landfill will continue for the next few hours to determine if there is more evidence, although debris and a large amount of waste complicate tasks in the area, which remains cordoned off and under police lockdown. Investigators are analyzing security cameras in the surroundings to try to reconstruct the path of the bags and establish who threw them in that area. The case continues under strict secrecy while forensic results are awaited.
