In this context, all spraying of any type of agrochemicals was banned in a strip extending from the neighborhood's building line to five hundred meters into the field. To ensure compliance, control and supervision were entrusted to the province's Ministry of Bioagroindustry and the Environmental Police. While the regulation is in effect, the Prosecutor's Office will continue its criminal investigation 'to determine possible liabilities for the alleged irregular application of agrochemicals.' 'The decision is made within the framework of a criminal investigation that has been ongoing based on complaints related to the use of these products in fields adjacent to the neighborhood,' the report explains.
