
Three people have lost their lives and two remain in serious condition after a tragic accident between a car and a bus in the Argentine province of Córdoba. The fatalities are three men aged 24, 33, and 34 years. The accident occurred in the early hours of Wednesday at kilometer 813 of Route 9, when a Fiat Cronos car veered into the opposite lane and collided with a bus from the company Turismo Delicia SRL.
The first two deceased were identified as Arturo Rueda, 24 years old, and Luis Diego Méndez, 33, who died at the scene of the accident. The third, whose identity has not been disclosed, died in the hospital. Additionally, several people were injured, including a 30-year-old man with a cranial injury and intracerebral bleeding, and a 30-year-old woman with multiple fractures in both femurs, abdominal trauma, and internal injuries.
The car had five occupants traveling from Jujuy to Córdoba, while the bus, which was not in service, was headed from Venado Tuerto to Santiago del Estero. The bus driver had to be rescued by firefighters as he was trapped in the cabin. Both he and two other people on board the vehicle were taken to De la Dormida Hospital for medical attention. Now, authorities have confirmed that three people have lost their lives in this tragic event.
