The new lawyers for the parents of Lian Flores, the missing child in Córdoba, have expressed their commitment to investigate all hypotheses related to the child's disappearance. Florencia Giuzio and Dario Bagginison have taken over the defense after the resignation of the previous lawyer, Romina Romano, due to disagreements with the Prosecutor's Office.
In statements to the Argentine News Agency, Giuzio mentioned the sad situation of the parents, highlighting that "they lost their child, know nothing about him, and on top of that, they have to go through the judicial process." She pointed out that they are focused on the exhaustive search for Lian, stating that, for the adults, "he was taken away."
The lawyer explained that steps are being taken to confirm or rule out the hypothesis of abduction, as well as other lines of investigation. Regarding suspicions about the parents, Giuzio emphasized that all hypotheses must be investigated and that evidence must be examined in detail to confirm or dismiss conjectures, including the possible involvement of the family in the disappearance.
After meeting with the parents, who named them as their legal representatives, Giuzio and Bagginison officially took on the case. The lawyer mentioned that the family has experienced a drastic change in their lives in the past three days and are going through a very difficult time.
