Pamela Cano, a 38-year-old woman residing in Córdoba, suffered severe burns after being attacked with acid by her ex-partner, Leonardo Galván. Pamela's sister, Vanesa Cano, stated to the press that the victim "will not be the same after this." According to Vanesa, Pamela and Leonardo lived together for 15 years, and after an argument, Pamela took refuge at her mother's house, where Galván went looking for her to "fix things."
Pamela is hospitalized at the Burn Institute in the capital of Córdoba with second and third-degree burns on 8% of her body, but she is out of danger. Vanesa Cano detailed that the attack occurred when Galván took her sister to a dark place and threw the acid on her, then fled and remains at large. Vanesa expressed, in tears, her concern for her sister's condition, stating that "my sister will not be the same after this."
So far, there has been no information about the whereabouts of Leonardo Galván. Vanesa mentioned that both her sister and the family have police protection and expressed her desire for Galván to be found and face the consequences of his actions. "It’s a very painful thing to see how she was left, all I ask is that they find him and that he pays for everything he did," concluded the victim's sister.
