Buenos Aires, February 4 (NA) -- A 31-year-old man was arrested after causing a traffic accident when he evaded a police checkpoint, crashed into a motorcycle, and abandoned the vehicle in Córdoba capital. According to the police report accessed by the Argentine News Agency, the operation began after midnight on February 4 in the Nueva Córdoba neighborhood, where, following the chase, the driver collided with the motorcycle and abandoned the car. Police officers located the man thanks to witness statements and he was transferred to the judicial headquarters, while the motorcyclist was assisted by emergency services and diagnosed with minor trauma, without the need for hospitalization. The arrest was made on charges of resistance, while the car was impounded and made available to the intervening magistrate.
