A car washer was arrested by the Córdoba Police after causing damage to a parked SUV in a provincial capital neighborhood, after having demanded money to watch over the same vehicle. Police sources informed the Argentine News Agency that the individual was detained while attempting to escape through the streets of the Güemes neighborhood, after having scratched the vehicle, a Toyota T-Cross parked at Obispo Trejo 1250. The subject demanded a sum of money in exchange for watching over the vehicle and was filmed by the owner of the car in question. The procedure was carried out at the intersection of Belgrano and Richardson streets, where officers intercepted the subject when he tried to flee after the criminal act. Subsequently, he was transferred to the police station and made available to the competent judicial authority.
