
The governor of Córdoba, Martín Llaryora, expressed his support for the National Government's decision to temporarily reduce tariffs on the agricultural sector, highlighting that this measure will help alleviate the difficult situation faced by rural producers. Llaryora emphasized the actions taken at the provincial level, such as the elimination of Gross Income Tax on production, the suppression of the Minimum Purchase Tax, and the allocation of 98% of the revenue from the Rural Property Tax to infrastructure investments for the countryside.
"We reaffirm our commitment to continue working until we achieve the total elimination of tariffs. It is encouraging for Argentina that the demands of productive sectors and provincial governors are being heard," stated Governor Llaryora. In a statement, the Government of the Province of Córdoba reaffirmed its commitment to defend the interests of the countryside and the citizens of Córdoba, recognizing that strengthening production is essential to building a prosperous future.
Llaryora thanked the national government for this temporary reduction in tariffs on the agricultural sector, pointing out that these resources will help the sector face the current complex situation more robustly.
