During a press event with representatives from Williams and McLaren, the Australian driver Oscar Piastri expressed his interest in learning Spanish, to which Colapinto humorously responded by promising to turn him into a Boca Juniors fan, a team for which the Argentine feels a great passion.
In an interview that included Colapinto, Thai driver Alex Albon, British driver Lando Norris, and Piastri, the latter confessed his desire to learn Spanish to enjoy the Argentine's interviews even more: 'I want to learn Spanish because apparently you are very funny in interviews.'
