Colapinto: Solving car problems is a difficult task

Argentine Formula 1 driver Franco Colapinto (Alpine) admitted that his team has an idea of the problems the car had during qualifying, although he lamented that «it's very difficult to solve it so quickly».

After qualifying, in which he finished 16th, Colapinto clarified that «it takes weeks of process to design a part of a car that in the end you realize what is missing. Taking the car from the simulator to the reality on the track is difficult».

Anyway, he emphasized that «the most important thing is to understand where a couple of the big problems come from and work with that», and continued: «We will have to work to understand the difference and I think we are on the right track».

Finally, he stressed that «while the championship is long, it will be important to evolve quickly».

Colapinto could not shine in the Australian Grand Prix qualifying, which takes place at the Albert Park circuit in the city of Melbourne, so he will have to deliver a near-perfect performance if he wants to climb to the 10th position and thus get into the points zone.
