The Bocay Racing team faces a series of intense matches for the rest of February and early March, which will require their coaches to make rotations to avoid injuries. The string of matches includes the Playoff of the Copa Libertadores for Bocay and the Recopa Sudamericana for Racing, meaning both teams will play eight matches in one month. The series will begin with a matchup between both teams this Saturday at 10 PM for the fifth round of the Apertura Tournament of the Professional League. Boca will have to play against Independiente Rivadavia de Mendoza, Banfield, the home and away matches of the Libertadores Playoff, Aldosivi, Rosario Central, and Central Córdoba of Santiago del Estero. On their part, Racing will face Tigre, Argentinos Juniors, home and away matches against Botafogo, Unión de Santa Fe, San Lorenzo, and Huracán. During this period, the teams will play every three or four days. If they advance to the third phase of the Playoff, the schedule will intensify even more. In total, the Boca team will play 11 matches in less than 40 days, while Racing will have its longest rest period of only five days.
