Boca's midfielder, Juan Ramírez, has a verbal agreement with Lanús to continue his career there after coach Fernando Gago informed him that he would not be considered for 2025. Despite being considered by teams like Talleres de Córdoba, Newell's, Rosario Central, and Estudiantes de La Plata, it seems Ramírez could end up in the "Granate" team at the express request of his coach Mauricio Pellegrino.
Following Gago's notification to Ramírez about his exclusion from Boca, the directors reached an agreement with the player's camp for a contractual proposal. Despite having played 95 matches and won several titles since his arrival in 2021, he has not had the opportunity to gain minutes with the new coach at the Xeneize club.
The only obstacle in the negotiation is Ramírez's high salary, which exceeds what other clubs can match. This Friday, the last day of the transfer market, the operation is expected to be finalized, which could be a loan with duration and conditions yet to be revealed.
It is rumored that Ramírez's loan to Lanús could last until December of this year, with a purchase option. The midfielder's arrival at the Granate team would only be pending the approval of the Football Council of Boca Juniors.
