Authorities from the Ministry of Energy and Mines met with executives from the National Agency for Controlled Materials (ANMaC) at the instruction of Governor Claudio Vidal. During the meeting, the head of the provincial Mining portfolio, Nadia Ricci, spoke with ANMaC officials about the control and oversight of the use of weapons, explosives, and controlled materials under National Law No. 20,429.
According to reports following the meeting, the aim is to coordinate actions that benefit regulated companies and analyze the possibility of future suppliers in the sector establishing themselves in Santa Cruz. This would promote job creation and economic revitalization in the regions where mining activity takes place.
According to the authorities, the goal is to establish a collaboration that has positive impacts both on regulated companies and on the economic development of the province. It is expected that this alliance between state agencies will result in tangible benefits for the mining sector and the community in general.
