Former President Cristina Fernández de Kirchner strongly criticized President Javier Milei for his proposal to create a "Tribunal of Honor" to revoke pension benefits from former presidents. In a social media message, she warned Milei about his attitude, stating that it made her feel pity and secondhand embarrassment. She also questioned the idea of judging the honor and merit of former leaders by a special court.
In her post, Fernández de Kirchner mocked Milei's capabilities and accused him of being out of touch. She reproached him for the intention to grant powers to revoke benefits from former presidents and criticized the president for seeking to create a Tribunal of Honor. Additionally, she asked Milei to stop giving illegal orders to officials and to consult about the democratic system.
The former leader recalled cases of former presidential spouses who were granted a lifetime pension and questioned whether Milei also wanted to associate with the judicial mafia to persecute her. She also mentioned Milei's trip to the United States after Donald Trump's victory and ironically suggested he consult Elon Musk about the possibility of creating a Judiciary with Artificial Intelligence.
In another message, Fernández de Kirchner criticized the government's decision to revoke her privileged pension and the pension due to the death of Néstor Kirchner. She harshly questioned Milei about his attitude and accused him of behaving like a "little dictator." She also confronted the president about his proposal to create a Tribunal with powers similar to those of the Judiciary, emphasizing that the poor performance of a leader should be judged by Congress through Political Trials.
