Political Struggle Against Cristina Kirchner

Cecilia Moreau condemns actions against Cristina Kirchner, asserting they're intended to eliminate her from Argentine politics. The deputy warns this threatens national and popular movements.

Political Struggle Against Cristina Kirchner

Deputy Cecilia Moreau from Unión por la Patria (UxP) expressed her opinion on the situation of former president Cristina Kirchner, stating that "they want to eliminate her" from political life, either by "killing her or condemning her." According to Moreau, the goal is to affect not only Cristina but the entire national and popular movement, seeking to "discipline us all."

"They are trying to push her out because she was the only living political leader who in the last years of the democratic period gave Argentinians more rights, sovereignty, freedom, and equality," stated Moreau. The deputy believes that the recent ruling against the former Senate leader is not only directed at Cristina but aims to impact the entire political movement she represents.

After the confirmation of the 6-year prison sentence by the Supreme Court, Moreau emphasized that this legal process not only affects the former president but carries greater significance by attempting to limit the political participation of an entire ideological current. Her statements came after the meeting between Fernández de Kirchner and leaders at the Instituto Patria, near Congress.

In this context, the legislator mentioned that the objective is clear: to reduce the influence of Cristina Kirchner and the movement she represents in the political life of the country. For Moreau, the strategy aims to "discipline" all sectors aligned with this stance, using any available means, whether judicial or media.
