The PRO Will Not Provide Quorum for the Congressional Session

The PRO has announced that it will not provide quorum in the session called for tomorrow in the Chamber of Deputies. If quorum is achieved, the party will not vote with Kirchnerism, according to what was expressed after a meeting of the Executive Board led by former president Mauricio Macri.

In a statement, the PRO communicated that it will maintain the same position it has held in Congress over the past year, prioritizing governance and the defense of institutions. The bloc of deputies will continue to promote issues such as the Clean Slate Law, for which they will request a special session next week.

Additionally, the party emphasized the need to address the labor democratization law in the context of the conflict with Aerolíneas Argentinas, considering that this issue is repeated in several companies.

The meeting included prominent figures from the PRO such as the head of the Buenos Aires government, Jorge Macri, the governor of Chubut, Ignacio Torres, and several deputies and leaders from the party. Despite the attempts of opposition blocs to gather the necessary quorum for tomorrow's session, the ruling party is confident that the number of 129 deputies will not be reached.

The PRO insisted that its priority is to maintain governance and institutional integrity, which is why it will not participate in tomorrow's session.
