Actress Florencia Peña expressed her outrage at the revelation that 80% of gambling activities in Argentina are illegal, after inadvertently promoting clandestine sites. She pointed out that, ethically, she could not tolerate participating in something like that and felt deceived upon discovering the illegal nature of the promoted activities.

Peña explained that she accepted the job through an agency, thinking it was a normal promotional task. However, she found herself promoting illegal betting sites without realizing the illicit background. She regretted not being aware of the true nature of the activities she was associating with and decided to cease her participation immediately upon learning of the illegality.

In the context of the case involving influencers for promoting illegal betting sites, former Big Brother participant Juliana Scaglione, known as Furia, testified before the specialized prosecutor's office on gambling in Buenos Aires. Her lawyer, Alejandro Cipolla, stated that the influencer vehemently denied her involvement in the illegal promotion, claiming that during the indicated period, she was inside the house of the famous reality show and had no control over her social media while being isolated.

The situation generated surprise and dismay in Peña and other influencers who were summoned to testify, who were shocked by the impunity with which clandestine activities were promoted. The actress reflected on the importance of maintaining an ethical stance and being informed about the legal implications of the actions taken, especially when it comes to promotions and public collaborations.
