Cristina Fernández de Kirchner Meets Entrerrian Leaders

Former President Cristina Fernández de Kirchner met this Wednesday with Gustavo Bordet and Guillermo Michel, two close leaders from Entre Ríos, amid uncertainty about the internal situation of the Justicialist Party.

Kirchner received Bordet, former governor and current legislator, and Michel, former head of Customs, at the Patria Institute. Later, she held a meeting with several legislators from that province: Tomás Ledesma, Estefanía Cora, Pola Rubatino, Blanca Osuna, and Carolina Gaillard.

In another development, the Federal Court No. 1, with electoral jurisdiction and presided over by María Servini, is considering Ricardo Quintela's request for the PJ electoral board to accept his list so he can run in the elections on November 17 against Fernández de Kirchner.

"However, and regardless of what the magistrate decides, everything suggests that the elections would be postponed," said a source close to the process.
