A man attempted to ram the gate of a prison in the province of Mendoza with a truck to free his cousin, who is detained for a domestic violence incident. Everything was recorded on video, which was published on social media.
The unusual incident took place last Sunday at noon at the San Felipe prison. The police officers on duty were surprised by the truck driver's actions, who was shouting and trying to break down the prison door to rescue his detained relative.
"He is detained for an injustice," the man stated while using the truck to hit the gate. Authorities intervened immediately and managed to arrest the aggressor, whose home is located in Las Heras, according to reports from the local media Info Ya.
During Sunday, the Scientific Police assessed the damage caused by the attempted liberation. Additionally, the Municipal Traffic personnel subjected the driver to a breathalyzer test. The truck involved, a Mercedes Benz 710, was seized, as well as a cell phone that the individual had in his possession.
