A retired serviceman shot one of the criminals attempting to rob him when he arrived for a meeting with his family at his ancestral home in the village of Sarmiento in the province of Buenos Aires. The incident occurred in a suburb on Toscan Street. According to information from the Primer Plano Online portal, the 68-year-old man parked his car to enter his relatives' house when he was approached by no less than two criminals, who came out of a Chevrolet Meriva. The criminals fled, and then one of them left his accomplice at the door of Ramón Carrillo hospital in serious condition with a gunshot wound to the chest. A 35-year-old man with multiple wounds died during the operation. The incident involved the following unit 5 of the Judicial Department of Morón under the direction of Prosecutor Claudia Oviedo, who did not anticipate any measures against the retired serviceman, considering the video recordings showing how the incident occurred.
