The governor of La Rioja denies Kirchner's accusations

The governor of La Rioja, Ricardo Quintela, has responded to the statements of national deputy and leader of La Cámpora, Máximo Kirchner, firmly denying that any mayor or minister of the provincial governor Axel Kicillof has helped gather support for the internal elections of the PJ. Quintela stated that Axel should not be involved in this matter, as he has no connection to it.

In radio statements, Quintela emphasized that no one from Kicillof's circle has provided support for his candidacy, categorically denying Máximo Kirchner's assertion. He clarified that while national deputy Victoria Tolosa Paz and former Albertista officials support him, no minister from Kicillof’s cabinet has contributed to his campaign.

The Riojan governor also denied rumors suggesting the involvement of the mayors of Avellaneda, Jorge Ferraresi, and Berazategui, José Mussi, in his campaign. These statements from Quintela come after insinuations from Máximo Kirchner, who mentioned the support of people close to Kicillof for Quintela's candidacy in the internal PJ dispute against former president Cristina Kirchner.
