The former nanny of Francisco, the son of Fabiola Yáñez and Alberto Fernández, will testify this Tuesday at the request of the defense of the former president in the investigation for gender-based violence against the former first lady. This is Noelia Del Vallea, whom federal prosecutor Ramiro González summoned for 10 a.m. after federal judge Julián Ercolini invalidated three other testimonies from women who worked for the presidential couple at the Quinta de Olivos, understanding that by going to a notary to present their testimonies individually, they violated a confidentiality agreement signed upon their hiring.
The Prosecutor's Office accepted as evidence 26 pages of screenshots of chats from the WhatsApp messaging system provided by Yáñez, certified by a Spanish notary. González accepted the documents with the screenshots of messages exchanged between Fabiola and Fernández after she refused to hand over her cell phone in Spain for data extraction, in the terms established by a request sent to the judiciary of that country, which was deemed closed without success.
Meanwhile, Judge Ercolini must decide on the recusal of the prosecutor raised by the defense, for which he gave notice to the parties and will summon a hearing. Last week, Sofía Pachhi, a former advisor and friend of Yáñez, testified in the Prosecutor's Office and denied witnessing acts of violence, but described the former presidential couple as "toxic."
