The president of Argentina, Javier Milei, criticized the opposition for believing that former president Cristina Kirchner did not reach her position through intellectual and professional merits. He referred to the political clash between Kirchner and the governor of Buenos Aires, Axel Kicillof, and highlighted a process of disinflation in the country's history.

Regarding the veto on university funding, Milei mentioned that it is an interesting topic due to the consideration of universities as a "sacred cow" in Argentina. He criticized the use of noble causes by politicians to cover up thefts and reproached national deputy Miguel Ángel Pichetto.

Milei also questioned the tribute made by the Senate leader to María Estela Martínez de Perón, expressing his interest in auditing universities. He stated that his government has succeeded in reducing inflation and criticized the populist perspective and survey-based decisions.

In his statements, Milei emphasized his conviction of being the best government in history and expressed his desire to put an end to Kirchnerism, including Cristina Kirchner. He differentiated himself from his vice president, Victoria Villarruel, regarding the praises towards Martínez de Perón and pointed out a decline in the image of universities in Argentina.
